DONATIONS FOR SCHOOL ITEMS OF FURNITURES
Al Khair Learning Centre is in Shram Vihar, Near Shaheen Bagh, Delhi, providing elementary schooling from Nursery to 5th class to the children in the area. Sharam Vihar is a slum-like area where around 400 families of migrant laborers are living in a very dismal situation. Most of the inhabitants are illiterate and have never gone to school. Male members are daily laborers and garbage pickers. Women are working as household servants and garbage pickers. Children are deprived of even primary education as they stay at home while their parents are working. The Centre is providing free education with stationery items, school uniforms with shoes, socks, ties & belts, books, and mid-day meals for children from slum areas of Sharam Vihar.
