Unprecedented Covid 19 pandemic and preventive lockdowns brought alarming changes all over the world. Millions lost their job and were pushed to poverty. In India, as per Centre for the Monitoring of the Indian Economy, nearly 17 million daily wage laborers and small traders, such as street vendors, lost employment in May 2021 alone.

Many people around us whom we know are struggling to find their daily bread and feed their family. They have lost their means of income which brough children’s education fee and health expenditure. Al Khair’s focus now is on helping these people come out this misery.

AlKhair is still in its infancy. It is growing now. We are planning to expand our works to more sectors and more people. Your kind gestures and generosity are what moves us forward. Together, lets bring some light to the lives of some who are in darkness of hopelessness and despair.
